About clutch hoists & stands
We sell a clutch hoist and a separate material hoist, the ELEM hoist. Both are rated 1 ton and carry 8 mm rope with 40 m of lift. The clutch hoist is heavy duty with a 3 HP three phase motor, and can be taken as a set with our medium stand, and the ELEM hoist as a set with a guide or rope guide.
The stands and rope guide are also sold on their own: a medium stand, a mini swivel stand and a guide or rope guide. These are useful when a stand is damaged, when you open a second site, or when you already own a hoist. Buying tips
- Measure the height from ground to the top floor where material will be received; both hoists carry 40 m of 8 mm rope.
- Buy the hoist with its stand or rope guide as a set so the mounting matches.
- Fix the stand firmly to the slab or structure and check its bolts before each day's work.
- Barricade the area below the hoist and never let anyone stand under a raised load.
- Keep each load within 1 ton, and check your site supply: the clutch hoist needs three phase, and we will send the ELEM hoist's motor details on request.
