Lifting Equipment Supplier for Coimbatore
Coimbatore is known for pumps and motors, and much of that work happens in the SIDCO estate at Kurichi and the units around Ganapathy, Peelamedu and Thudiyalur. Foundries cast pump bodies and motor housings, machine shops finish them, and assembly units wind, test and pack them. The city also has a long history of textile mills and textile machinery, plus wet grinder makers and auto component suppliers.
Industrial areas we supply
Pump and motor work means lifting heavy, awkward parts onto machines and test benches all day, which is where chain pulley blocks and beam trolleys earn their keep. HMS ships to Coimbatore from our NR Road store in Bengaluru, about 365 km by road, and the delivery cost is included in every quote.
What Coimbatore buys most
Pumps and motors
Stators, rotors and pump casings are lifted onto lathes, winding benches and test beds. A chain pulley block on a geared trolley handles occasional lifts, and an electric chain hoist suits busy test bays.
Foundries
Moulds, cores and fettled castings move from pouring to finishing. A geared trolley keeps the operator away from the load, and an electric chain hoist speeds up repeated lifts.
Textile mills and machinery
Cotton bales, yarn cones and machine parts are moved on pallets and lifted during maintenance. Pallet trucks and stackers handle the stores, and a chain block helps when a machine is opened up.
Wet grinders and small engineering units
Grinding stones and drums are heavy for their size. A chain pulley block on a push-pull trolley lifts them at assembly, and spring balancers hold tools over the bench.

Buying in Coimbatore: common questions
Which hoist is best for lifting motors in a test bay?
If lifts are occasional, a manual chain pulley block on a geared trolley is enough. If you test many motors a day, an electric chain hoist saves time and effort. Tell us the heaviest motor and the beam height.
Can a magnetic lifter pick up cast iron pump bodies?
Magnetic lifters hold best on clean, flat, thick steel. Curved or rough cast surfaces leave an air gap and reduce holding force well below the rated figure, so for most castings a chain block with slings is the safer choice.
Do you deliver to Tiruppur?
